Shiremanstown, PA -- All Around Sports Promotion LLC, founded by Awaan Sweet, hosted their, 'Select 24 Showcase' on Saturday, November 2.

The Select 24 featured players ranging from the Class of 2025 through 2029, as many local and future high school prospects got after it at West Shore Christian Academy throughout the afternoon.

Tyreese Smith of the RPN was in full-force from the control room to deliver comprehensive real-time X (formerly known as Twitter) coverage and expert player evaluations throughout the event.

Below is a list of standouts from the S24 Event, per Smith:

MIDDLE SCHOOL BOYS
Dom Baker (Bishop McDevitt)
- "Baker is one of the up-and-coming prospects in the Harrisburg Area, but just know, that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Being the son of Coach Dave Baker (St. Bonaventure, Clarion, HACC, and Central Penn College), Baker's basketball IQ rose above the chart in the event. The 6'2" Shooting Guard was crucial on the glass, scoring from all phases on the court and wasn't afraid to make the extra pass. Even when shots didn't begin to fall until later in the day, Baker was still active as he hustled up-and-down the hardwood. Best of luck to Baker in the initial future as he plans to attend Bishop McDevitt High School in the future."

Brooks Campbell (Hershey)
- "Campbell, who's the younger brother of Hershey standout, James Campbell, showcased his potential for the future. The 6 foot Combo Guard did a great job with pushing the ball in transition, getting to his spots off the dribble to score, while providing hustle for his team throughout the day. Best of luck to Campbell in the initial future as he'll attend Hershey High School, guided by longtime coach Paul Blackburn, in the future."

Cameron Dickerson (Central Dauphin)
- "Dickerson, the younger son of The Road's Corey Dickerson, put his shooting touch on display throughout the event. The 5'10" Combo Guard showcased his range from deep, while having the ability to create his own shot off of the dribble and for his teammates. Best of luck to Dickerson in the initial future as he'll attend Central Dauphin High School in the future."

HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS
Class of 2028:
Mackenna Bonner (Northern York)
- "As Northern has had turnover on their roster heading into the season, Bonner looks to be one of the next bright spots for Northern. The 5'9" Forward was crucial in a time of need by staying active in the paint doing a bit of everything throughout the event. Bonner will be joining the Polar Bears, who finished with a program high 26-4 record, and joining the likes of Taelyn Townsend, Liz Montgomery, Delaney Moyer and JMU Track & Field commit, Anna Lehman."

Mirielle Chambers (Cumberland Valley)
- "New to the Mid-Penn high school scene, there's no telling where Chambers will land on a numbers battle at Cumberland Valley. What the RPN does know is that Chambers held her own throughout the event. The CV Guard has done a solid job of scoring when needed and crucial in her screening to create for others."

Sadie McMeekin (Carlisle)
- "Kelsey Stasyszyn is continuing to change the direction at Carlisle as McMeekin is another up-and-coming prospect in the area. The 5'6" Guard showcased her shooting Ability, while stepping up in any role needed amongst her team. Best of luck to McMeekin in her first high school basketball season."

Class of 2027:
Emma Bush (Northeastern)
- "Bush has the opportunity to be a key piece for the Bobcats this upcoming season. The 6-footer was active across the paint through her rebounding and finishing when needed throughout the event. Best of luck to Bush heading into her high school season as Northeastern has moved back into Section 1 of the YAIAA."

Camryn Forsythe (West York)
- "West York is known for developing scrappy yet sharpshooting guards in York County. While, those in the YAIAA know of the Bulldogs and what they bring to the table, the rest of the showcase got an intro of Forsythe. The 5'6" Guard provided assistance when necessary within her scoring ability throughout the afternoon. Best of luck to Forsythe as she'll be looking to crack the Bulldogs lineup this winter."

Julia Gerber (York Suburban)
- "Gerber is known for filling it up around the perimeter, but the York Suburban product did a bit of everything throughout the afternoon. The 5'8" Wing displayed her playmaking ability, finishing in the paint and an improved IQ in the event. Even when her usual shots weren't falling from range, she kept playing through the misses to ensure she stood out. Best of luck to Gerber this season as she'll return to Suburban, who are the reigning District 3 5A champions."

Evangeline Martin (Greencastle Antrim)

The 5'3" Guard showed a sweet stroke from the perimeter throughout the day as she made defenders pay all day long. Best of luck to Martin and the Blue Devils, as they will have noticeable games against York Suburban, Middletown and Northern this upcoming season."

Brooke Nalls (West York)

The 5'10" Wing was comfortable as an offensive threat moving well off the ball, got to her spots off the dribble, while the three ball began to rain later in the day. Making PennLive’s All-Newcomer team by shooting 37% from three last season, expect Pratt to have an even better season with the Wildcats this winter."

The 6 foot Forward did a bit of everything being active on the boards, hitting the open girl and scoring when needed 15-feet and down. Schmick was impressive throughout the event, but best of luck to her heading into year two."

Samirah Mamoudou (Central Dauphin East)
- "Mamoudou would have been my MVP of the day, if there was one, but nonetheless stood out when it mattered. The 5'9" Combo was all over the place in the event showing her hustle, defensive instincts with steals and scoring from all three levels. If Mamoudou locks in the way she did at S24, then there could be belief that she might be East's next best scoring option."

Alaina Sweet (Mechanicsburg)
- "One of the smoothest prospects in the Harrisburg area, Sweet continued to show why she's picking up collegiate interests. Sweet got busy throughout the event by getting to her spots, while providing opportunities to operate in the mid range and from deep. Earning Mid-Penn 2024 Keystone Division Player of the Year, while being named on the first-team of PennLive's Big 15 team, Sweet is expected to take it to another level with the Wildcats this season."

The 5'9" Point Guard played with a comfortable pace, while showing off the ability to score from all three levels. Best of luck to Marsico heading into his first high school basketball season."

Elijah Slaughter (York Country Day)
- "A new face to the area this year, Slaughter just might be next up in the County. The 6'1" Combo Guard was an X-factor throughout the day with an aggressive tone scoring at all three levels, while providing playmaking and being a difference maker on the defensive end with his length. Slaughter joins a talented YCD squad, who made the District 3 tournament last season."

Class of 2027:
Dylan Crawford (Milton Hershey)
- "Helping the Spartans in their current rebuild, Crawford played like a veteran in S24. The 6'3" Forward has been active on both sides of the ball finishing in the paint, providing good defense in phases and played above the rim getting out in transition. Best of luck to Crawford heading into year two."

Abdou Diene (Milton Hershey)
- "One of the most improved players heading into the scholastic season, Diene looked much improved compared to his freshman year. The 6'6" D.C. native looked much more polished finishing off the dribble, manning the paint on the glass and bodying up, while showing a new skill within hitting the three ball. Averaging 9.5 points per game and collecting 195 boards last season, expect Diene to take his game to new heights as a sophomore."

O'Brien will look to work his way back into CV's lineup, after the Eagles are coming off a program best 25-4 record -- alongside first time golds with a Mid-Penn Conference and District 3 6A title last season."
